2010 President’s Circle Retreat
Friends and donors of Wheat Ridge Ministries joined Dr. Rick Herman for the 11th Annual President’s Circle Retreat at the Hilton Charlotte Center City in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Feb. 14-16, 2010. The gathering brings together individuals from across the country who have made significant contributions to our seeding ministry.
Mrs. Margaret Hinchey and her husband, Rev. Don Hinchey, served as devotional leaders throughout the retreat. Margaret currently serves as Minister of Music and Worship at Our Father Lutheran Church in Centennial, Colorado, while Don has been pastor there since 1974.
Ms. Kristen Glass, Director for Young Adult Ministry for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, shared a two-part presentation with the group on "Generation Next and the Church: Reaching and Engaging Young Adults."
During Monday evening's reception, Dr. Richard Engebrecht was presented with a Seeds of Hope Award from Wheat Ridge Ministries. The Seeds of Hope Award recognizes individuals for their exemplary dedication and commitment to serving in ministries of health, hope and healing.
On Monday evening, the group enjoyed a lovely reception at the home of Rev. Tim and Mrs. Rae Fangmeier.
