• Care and Development of Church Leaders
  Helping pastors and other church workers stay healthy in the midst of the increasing pressures and complexities of congregation ministry.
• Community Service Ministries
  Impacting the health of people who are at-risk in urban centers and rural communities by addressing issues such as poverty, education, housing and community development.
• Generational Ministries
  Addressing the needs of people at critical stages in life and building community among people of different generations for mutual care.
• Health and Wellness Ministries
  Supporting congregations and agencies as they capture the vision of the church as a community of health and healing.
• Global Health and Service Ministries
  Helping God’s people respond to the health and healing needs of people in countries around the world.
• Peace and Justice Issues
  Helping congregations and agencies work together to build communities that build peace, respect and harmony among people.

Wheat Ridge seeks out and responds to new ministries of health and hope through its granting, connecting and equipping functions.

Granting

Wheat Ridge supports over 70 new health-related ministries each year through a variety of seed money grant programs.  Seed money grants, provided for a maximum of three years, assist with expenses related to starting a new health ministry.  Projects range from assistance for abused children to support of ministries for older persons to mentoring of immigrants and refugees. Click here to find out more about Wheat Ridge granting activities.

Connecting

Wheat Ridge serves as a catalyst for the development of new ideas.  Through staff, staff associates and a national network of area representatives, Wheat Ridge regularly brings together people from a variety of disciplines to discuss various topics and issues related to health ministry.  Click here to learn more about Wheat Ridge connecting activities.

Equipping
