Wheat Ridge Christmas Seals have been a source of holiday inspiration for almost 100 years - ever since the first seals were offered to Lutheran congregations in 1911.
In the early days funds raised through the Christmas Seals campaign were used to support the Lutheran Sanatorium in Wheat Ridge, Colorado...helping Lutherans battle the ravages of tuberculosis, known then as "the white plague."
Since the closing of the sanatorium in 1961, the support provided by generous donors to this campaign helps Wheat Ridge Ministries seed new ministries of health and hope around the world...all in the name of the healing Christ.
