Wheat Ridge Ministries’ staff, staff associates and area representatives are honored to receive requests to serve as speakers, facilitators and consultants at various events.  The following guidelines are intended to help us be faithful stewards of our resources and to provide guidance to congregations and agencies who request speakers from Wheat Ridge Ministries.

• Contact with potential speakers can be made by direct contact with the individual whose services are being requested or by contacting the Wheat Ridge Ministries Director of Communications (800.762.6748).  Click here for a list of speakers and their areas of interest/expertise.

• Unless otherwise indicated, the requesting organization is responsible for the following expenses related to the speaker from Wheat Ridge Ministries:
  • Travel
  • Meals
  • Accommodations

• When representing Wheat Ridge Ministries, staff members, staff associates and area representatives do not accept fees or honorariums for their services.  Instead, a contribution can be made to Wheat Ridge Ministries in recognition of services provided.  There is no prescribed amount for this gift.  The amount should, of course, take into consideration the scope of the services provided. 

• Agreement should be reached between the requesting organization and the speaker regarding terms and conditions prior to confirming the engagement.  Exceptions to these policies and procedures should be discussed with the appropriate member of the Wheat Ridge Ministries executive staff prior to reaching agreement.

• The speaker is responsible for providing the Wheat Ridge office with the details of the speaking engagement as soon as it has been confirmed.
