Seeds of Hope Awards

Purpose Statement

The Seeds of Hope Award events are hosted by Wheat Ridge Ministries each year in order to accomplish five primary purposes:

• To thank God for gifted and dedicated individuals who are a blessing to others as they share health and hope through a lifetime of service in their church and community;
  
• To honor these individuals and to highlight their ministry service as a model and inspiration for others;
  
• To provide a setting in which the local Lutheran community can come together for fellowship, friendship, networking and mutual support;
  
• To build interest, involvement and support in the mission and vision of Wheat Ridge Ministries among new and existing friends and donors;
  
• To raise funds so that the seeding of new ministries of health and hope can continue and expand.

The Seeds of Hope Awards have recognized individuals whose outstanding service to health, hope and healing ministries exemplifies the Wheat Ridge mission of "seeding health and hope in the name of the healing Christ."  View the Event Archive to see individuals that have been recognized in the past.

Seeds of Hope Events honor Seeds of Hope Award recipients and recognize the ministerial organizations they serve, as well as disseminating information about and raising funds for Wheat Ridge Ministries

Past Seeds of Hope Events (luncheons or dinners) have been held in New York, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Washington DC, Los Angeles, New Orleans, St. Paul, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Omaha, the San Francisco Bay Area and Bradenton, Florida.
