Proposal Process

Steps in the Major Grant Proposal Process

  1. Develop a realistic, feasible, and accurate plan for a new ministry of health and hope that addresses a specific health-related need in the congregation, community or target population.
  2. Determine whether the project plan and the sponsoring organization meet the requirements detailed in the Guide for Submitting Major Grant Proposals.  For clarification or other questions related to whether the project is consistent with the guidelines, contact the Wheat Ridge Ministries office.
  3. If the project is consistent with Wheat Ridge Ministries' major grant proposal guidelines, submit a brief concept paper by the deadlines indicated in the major grant request schedule listed below.  Follow the format as described in the Major Grant Concept Paper Format.
  4. The Wheat Ridge Ministries staff will select a limited number of projects for further consideration, based on the information provided in the concept papers.  The contact person for projects that are selected for further considerations will be informed by the Wheat Ridge Ministries staff and a full proposal will be requested.
