Wheat Ridge Ministries is serving Christ's people in several ways. Not only by assisting financially with seed money to faith-based ministries, but Wheat Ridge continues to provide meaningful connections for brothers and sisters in Christ. Living Well Days for Professional Church Workers Wheat Ridge Ministries is pleased to partner with other Lutheran organizations to offer “Living Well Days for Professional Church Workers” throughout the country. The idea for the Living Well Days grew out of shared needs from clergy and others that they needed a time and place to “just get away” for a day. Healthy Teams Workshops The Healthy Teams Project promotes and encourages healthy team ministries among principals, directors, and pastors of Lutheran schools and congregations by providing information, resources, and discussion related to team ministry issues. Round Table Gatherings Round Table Gatherings involve leaders of organizations and congregations who have received major seed money grants from Wheat Ridge in recent years. The theme of these gatherings is “Developing and Sustaining New Ministries” and it is hoped that the individuals gathered through this facilitated process will be able to learn more about what it takes to develop a successful new ministry effort. Seeds of Hope Events The Seeds of Hope Awards have recognized individuals whose outstanding service to health, hope and healing ministries exemplifies the Wheat Ridge mission of "seeding health and hope in the name of the healing Christ." At the same time, the Seeds of Hope Awards continue to be a place of connection between Lutherans and others while honoring these deserving individuals. President's Circle Retreat The President's Circle Retreat is an annual gathering of donors and volunteers who are members of Wheat Ridge President, Rick Herman's President's Circle. The Retreat features spiritual devotions, self-reflection, visioning and special presentations unique to Wheat Ridge Ministries. The Retreat's purpose is to deepen the relationship between Wheat Ridge Ministries and those whose gifts make it possible for us to seed new ministries of health and hope in the name of the healing Christ.
